Because Buffalo State is located in New York State's second-largest city, students have access to all the city offers. Students perform internships and use Buffalo's many agencies and arts facilities for learning outside of the classroom.
Through civic-engagement interior design projects, students address needs faced by residents in the region. By participating in interior design projects in the community, independently and in teams, students gain tools for performance in the field.
The interior design curriculum includes an internship, which allows students to gain relevant professional experience and helps prepare them for careers.

This is a freelance position with the possibility of growing into full-time -- hours will currently vary from 15-20 based on the ebb and flow of project deadlines but may increase in the near future to 30+.
