Wood Design II: DES 350 Project, Spring 2020
Statement:
In the style of Ancient Japanese woodworking with a Modern twist, the Revolution Mirror brings form and function to everyday life. The title of this piece is not only a symbolic representation of the idea that the past and present are on a continuous, never-ending loop, but it is also a nod to the construction of the piece. Bending plywood was rounded into a circle and steam bent to keep its shape.
