Surviving in part through human acts of generosity and kindness, animals carve out habitat in this city of more than15 million people. Kimberly Hart, associate professor of anthropology, will discuss how she used photography as a research method to document and represent the animals who live in the city and the processes she used to select images for her exhibit currently on view in Upton Hall's Bacon Gallery.
